I also love to use Indian ink and watercolour on Khadi paper. When I'm making my paper cut collage illustrations I use recycled and found papers. I collect vintage plates and paint them with acrylic paint pens and they come with a wall hanger attached to the back. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/62976995b8414f486cf1b24d/3bc242f9-f61c-404e-bd8f-aa31b91aebe4/image2.jpeg Home - My Inspiration I am lucky to live on the beautiful south coast and am happiest when I’m near the sea. I’m often inspired when walking my dog around the harbour and swimming in the sea. I hope that the positivity and joy in my artwork will inspire others to immerse themselves and experience the many benefits of sea swimming. https://www.bechopkins.co.uk/contact daily 0.75 2024-05-18 https://www.bechopkins.co.uk/about daily 0.75 2024-05-18 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/62976995b8414f486cf1b24d/03e02acc-b927-4a98-b26d-a6ad4ac8357f/274305890_2190080721141755_4779258555893806304_n.jpg About https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/62976995b8414f486cf1b24d/a3ac3e63-e118-4e75-8ec1-5030df57efab/277004846_2218228708326956_8336809022932085123_n.jpg About https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/62976995b8414f486cf1b24d/f715a6f5-f5f8-439f-bbc6-1351a40be7b7/277170581_2218271238322703_5702572031164054065_n.jpg About https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/62976995b8414f486cf1b24d/2d15d395-f229-4bc9-a0a7-9e609a0a8596/275205369_2204653776351116_5893636808844720691_n.jpg About https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/62976995b8414f486cf1b24d/b0e47bef-9407-4713-ba2b-0f5792e82959/IMG_8477.jpeg About Hello. I’m a British artist living and working in West Sussex. I studied art foundation in Brighton, followed by a gap year before university which turned in to a gap decade before having children. I travelled the world and worked in the charity sector. After having my first child I picked up my brushes again. A friend bought my first painting while it was still drying. I continued to experiment with mixed media with a big focus on PLAY and discovered my love of collage, colour and gold leaf. I have exhibited across West Sussex, Hampshire, London and Brighton. My art revolves around my love and connection with the ocean and sea swimming. Through my pieces I aim to capture the joy within the waves and the feeling of freedom and connection to nature that comes with swimming in open waters. I use recycled and collected vintage papers and Indian rag paper to create my collages and acrylic, watercolour and Indian inks in my paintings. I showcase my work throughout the year locally in West Sussex and Hampshire and my work can be seen in PO10 in Emsworth, Artisans Gallery in Chichester, Peer Studios in Ventnor, The Huts Emsworth and Green Door Centre in Bosham. Ever year I open my studio for two weekends for the Chichester Open Studios. I can set up home viewings on request and occasionally do open studio sales from my home studio. I happily take commissions so if you have an idea for something you’d like me to create please get in touch! We’ll discuss in fine detail and I’ll work hard to make something beautiful that you will treasure. https://www.bechopkins.co.uk/exhibitions daily 0.75 2026-01-07 https://www.bechopkins.co.uk/shop daily 0.75 2024-05-18 https://www.bechopkins.co.uk/shop/cards monthly 0.5 2025-11-20 https://www.bechopkins.co.uk/shop/original-paintings monthly 0.5 2026-10-01 https://www.bechopkins.co.uk/shop/original-papercuts monthly 0.5 2026-10-01 https://www.bechopkins.co.uk/shop/paintedplates monthly 0.5 2026-10-15 https://www.bechopkins.co.uk/shop/prints monthly 0.5 2023-07-17 https://www.bechopkins.co.uk/shop/prints-1 monthly 0.5 2026-03-04 https://www.bechopkins.co.uk/shop/p/qzqho6zu8xdmh3tfh4n00i1dd3ea1p monthly 0.5 2026-10-21 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/62976995b8414f486cf1b24d/1792063633877-QWTA7N48SFAXGV3DX4U7/1399772B-308F-4389-ABCA-34327088BA89.png Shop - Vintage Plate Painting Workshop https://www.bechopkins.co.uk/shop/p/pf56jtisiwro9d12fv9hdiurhtlpyx monthly 0.5 2026-10-10 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/62976995b8414f486cf1b24d/1791369979002-CUXIGF6161HCHD5JPHFP/E48B903F-8EA7-4440-9E1B-49E186971E29.jpeg Shop - Colour and Chorus https://www.bechopkins.co.uk/shop/p/f6yk4a9inbuqmt30lm155vxfub5t8i monthly 0.5 2026-10-16 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/62976995b8414f486cf1b24d/1790672111046-IW60I6SP8QXELQGF78UD/87A4DD7D-E926-4CF8-87D1-38963FB95A42.jpeg Shop - Art Club Winter Term - Fishbourne Primary School https://www.bechopkins.co.uk/shop/p/8g0ue3bdvjjax9coxx0xkp6jaeewvb monthly 0.5 2026-08-30 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/62976995b8414f486cf1b24d/1763638406686-WL1GXYZ42Q920N0X1P7B/95ADD0B5-39FA-4559-8A54-10A586AD5662.jpeg Shop - Studio Time https://www.bechopkins.co.uk/gallery daily 0.75 https://www.bechopkins.co.uk/gallery/project-one-fjghf monthly 0.5 2022-08-10 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/62976995b8414f486cf1b24d/6e6aa3b7-0737-4646-9c11-2dafdd31b2b7/image4.jpeg Gallery - Gallery https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/62976995b8414f486cf1b24d/49d0f362-0be3-4115-93b5-31cc2cdb2c38/IMG_8609.jpg Gallery - Gallery https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/62976995b8414f486cf1b24d/c88120b2-b90d-4e69-b247-20707c44c1f3/IMG_8598.jpg Gallery - Gallery https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/62976995b8414f486cf1b24d/cde2ba1f-4030-4e39-8399-7414112a2863/IMG_8611.jpg Gallery - Gallery https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/62976995b8414f486cf1b24d/c15f0860-6763-4992-8242-24e4b25b425f/IMG_8612.jpg Gallery - Gallery https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/62976995b8414f486cf1b24d/29800a52-2dc7-46c4-8a8e-28d306d006ae/IMG_4918.jpg Gallery - Gallery https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/62976995b8414f486cf1b24d/4fc2dde8-a23a-4c6b-9705-c67b0aaae82a/IMG_8613.jpg Gallery - Gallery https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/62976995b8414f486cf1b24d/7a73ddd0-94c6-4002-9777-497acf6b0ec8/IMG_8610.jpg Gallery - Gallery https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/62976995b8414f486cf1b24d/4ca82443-7c30-489f-bd11-3e645fceb826/IMG_2513.jpg Gallery - Gallery https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/62976995b8414f486cf1b24d/1a7ae8a2-f711-4e62-bb3e-d17708bcb2e9/IMG_8614.jpg Gallery - Gallery https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/62976995b8414f486cf1b24d/d77d2fad-8665-4644-a1d9-3196419c47aa/IMG_8615.jpg Gallery - Gallery https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/62976995b8414f486cf1b24d/6cc1322b-9c40-48ea-9e1d-ef91ed5943de/IMG_8616.jpg Gallery - Gallery https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/62976995b8414f486cf1b24d/923ec1a1-569e-4a86-bf8e-0f54b73acee7/image0.jpeg Gallery - Gallery https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/62976995b8414f486cf1b24d/6a59d5ce-1728-494d-bc22-c19d625f262e/image2.jpeg Gallery - Gallery
